These are real voices from the communities we work with across India.
“"Earlier, farming was only for survival. After joining TIFRC’s organic farming program, I learned new techniques and received solar-powered irrigation support. Now, I grow vegetables for my family and sell the surplus in the local market. My income has doubled, and my children go to school without worry."”
Rekha Devi
Farmer, Madhya Pradesh
“"Our village had no reliable electricity. Nights were dark, and studying after sunset was impossible for children. Through TIFRC’s Solar Light Assembly & Maintenance Training, I learned how to assemble, repair, and maintain solar lamps."”
Shanti Devi
Solar Technician, Uttarakhand
“"Our school had no computers, and I had never touched one. With TIFRC’s smart classroom and digital lessons, I not only learned computers but also developed confidence. Now I dream of becoming a teacher and helping other girls in my village."”
Anjali Kumari
Student, Jharkhand
“"My wife was a high BP patient with gastric issues, and the nearest hospital was four hours away. TIFRC’s Harit Swaraj AYUSH centre and telemedicine service connected us with a doctor instantly. The health worker came with the right medicines. Now my wife feels better health."”
Abdul Rahman
Villager, Assam
“"We were part of a women’s self-help group with no steady income. TIFRC trained us in millet product making, branding, and sales. Today, our “Nutri Grain Millet” snacks are sold in nearby towns, and we run the unit ourselves."”
